This fish and cats journey is one of curiosity, hunger, surprise and love. These style frames are meant to montage moments of their emotion as their story leads through to an unlikely moment of love… and what happens after.

Assignment
This assignment was one of my earliest motion design classes. The assignment was to design and animate different feelings and was intended to be individual shots, but after making the list of emotions I wanted to express I decided I wanted to string it into a story.
How can one express love? There are a million cliche ways to express it, but I wanted to create something surprising. With that intention, I create a love between a fish and a cat. Typically (atypically) they are enemies but the cats curiosity leads to romance. They fall in love blooming into flower form to be together. The story end with the fish promptly meeting his ending and being flushed away.
This time curiosity did not kill the cat.
